Go and Make Disciples

Women's Connect at Whatcom County aims to foster community, faith, outreach, and service among women of all ages within our Parish. Our mission is to support spiritual growth, provide opportunities for social connection, and engage in charitable activities that benefit both the parish and the wider community. To help each member to fulfill the "Great Commission" given to us by our Lord by providing a relaxed and friendly event to which they can invite others outside of the faith.

Activities:

Bible Study

Women's Connect offers regular Bible Studies with prayer on a Thursday evening from 7-9 pm. For details or current studies please go to www.womensconnect.live

Quarterly Evening Event

Women’s Connect also hosts quarterly social events which include praise and worship, food and beverage, time to enjoy participating in a 30 minute craft and a session with a spiritual motivational speaker and reflection. This is a great outreach opportunity to invite neighbors, colleagues, non-Catholics and non-Christians to experience fellowship, our love for God in prayer and worship and to hear the inspirational message of salvation. There is a $10 fee, which goes towards the speaker. All events are advertised 6 weeks prior to the event in all the parish churches.

For information about the upcoming event please go to www.womensconnect.live

You can book your spot at https://womensconnect.live/rsvp

Please click here to pay the $10 event fee and keep your receipt for presenting on the evening. We look forward seeing you!

Organizational Structure:

Leadership Team: Comprising a President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer.
Committees: Look to expand the committee to include women who will organize the special craft and fun features which are often secular in character, plan and arrange musicians or group singing, identify charities to support and promote them, and to plan ahead for Faith Inspiring Speakers and to plan annual retreat.
