First Reconciliation &
First Holy Communion

Preparation for these two sacraments is open to children in 2nd grade or older. 3-4 monthly classes are held for each sacrament for the parent and child together. Children who do not attend Assumption Catholic School need to participate in Assumption Parish's K-5 faith formation program in addition to these sacramental preparation classes.

FIRST RECONCILIATION CLASS SCHEDULE

Note: Children will make their First Reconciliation on Saturday, Feb. 8, 2025. Fifteen-minute time slots will be made available between 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. and a signupgenius link will be provided in early January for families to pick their time.

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION CLASS SCHEDULE 
WINTER/SPRING, 2025

Wednesdays, 6:15 - 7:30 p.m.

First Holy Communion Mass Rehearsal Schedule:
Children will attend the rehearsal based on the Mass time in which they'll receive the sacrament:
► Saturday, May 31 -- approximately 6:00 p.m. for all children receiving the sacrament at an English-language Mass.
► Sunday, June 1 -- approximately 2:00 p.m. for all children receiving the sacrament at the Spanish-language Mass.

The sacrament of First Holy Communion (English) will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Mass on June 1, 2025.

The sacrament of First Holy Communion (Spanish) will be celebrated at 12:30 p.m. Mass on June 8, 2025.
