Catholic Daughters of the Americas
St. Aloysius Court #243
The local Catholic Daughters (CDA) Court is made up of women across the Whatcom County parishes--Assumption, Sacred Heart, St. Joseph's (Ferndale), St. Joseph's (Lynden), St. Joachim (Lummi) and St. Anne (Blaine)--and is open to women 18 and older. Celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2014, this is one of the oldest courts in the United States. Our Blessed Mother Mary is our role model and guide in all things we do.
The integration of "Spirituality and Service" is the foundation of the Catholic Daughters. CDA helps women develop their spirituality by giving members a unique opportunity to share their faith with other Catholic women, then live that out by helping others through charitable acts and service in the spirit of Jesus Christ.
The local court meets on the 3rd Saturday of the month from
2:00 - 4:00 p.m. in the Stafford Room on the campus of Assumption Catholic Church.
